• The Chemistry Department will launch a new scientific conference this summer to promote excellence and diversity in research conducted by undergraduate students within our region. The Pacific Northwest Undergraduate Research Symposium on Organic Chemistry will be held on campus on August 11, 2008. • The Chemistry Department has been successful in its efforts to secure funding for an inter-departmental Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Facility. The new 700 megahertz NMR Spectrometer will be housed in the Gilbert Addition while awaiting the new LPI/Chemistry building. • The updated Chemistry Research Guide is available on the OSU Library website. It is a general research guide for the undergraduate and graduate courses in the Chemistry program, including information on locating theses, finding articles in journals, and grants and research funding. • Alumni & Friends: If you would like to update your information with us, or read the latest newsletter, please visit the alumni page. • If you are interested in supporting a continued strong OSU Chemistry Department, visit the OSU Foundation website.
